New Family-Owned Beer Cart, Wagon with the Dragon, Opens at the Milwaukie Station Food Cart Pod and Beer Garden

First-time business owners, The Craigs, opened Wagon with the Dragon May 16th, 2023 at the Milwaukie Station Food Carts in downtown Milwaukie. 

Don and Ann Craig and their three adult children Whitman, Emerson, and Thor loved eating at the food carts near their house. When they saw the beer cart, formerly Pint Size Pub, was for sale, they at first tried to think of who they knew who could buy it. Over a few months of dreaming about it, they decided to jump into it themselves.

The tap list includes Oregon beer, cider and, root beer served in chilled glasses. The menu also has wine and non-alcoholic options.

The name and logo are part of the fun for the Craigs. They wanted something a little nerdy and decided to go with a Dragon. Whitman Craig designed the logo and the mural on the cart. The Craigs love movies and the name and tag line are loosely taken from an old Danny Kaye movie, The Court Jester.

“Everyone we’ve met has said they are excited the beer cart is open again,” said Ann. “And we’re looking forward to getting to know the regulars and nurture a fun little hang out for folks.”
